Changes to my Study Program
Dentistry is a career that requires a lot of study, the subjects range from sciences such as biology and anatomy, to administration and management. It's quite entertaining, but I won't lie to you, there are times when that fun is submerged in a bottomless black space (hahaha), the truth is that dentistry can consume you or at least that's how it is in my university.
Dentistry at the University of Chile is quite fast, let me explain, the same career in other faculties takes more time to teach the subjects and these are separated into different branches per semester. For example, microbiology and physiology are separate subjects, each with their own teaching times. In my university they are united in a single branch along with two other subjects, all with a very short learning time, which makes it quite difficult for some students to keep up.
On the other hand, the school facilities are quite small and somewhat archaic. Other schools have state of the art dental technologies and fantastic dental instruments, well we don't (hahaha), but if my university has something, it is that it trains good professionals, in the academic field we have nothing to envy to the other faculties (only in that of course).
